MASC 2016

The whole group made the short journey down to Edinburgh to attend the annual meeting of the RSC Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry interest group on 15-16 December 2016.

Guillaume presented a poster titled Improving ligand design for boronate ester mediated dynamic covalent nanoparticle assembly–disassembly.

Nicolas presented a poster titled Complementary dynamic covalent nanoparticle building blocks.

And Euan gave a talk on Dynamic covalent nanoparticle building blocks.

The meeting was a huge success, this year organised by colleagues Paul Lusby and Scott Cockroft from Edinburgh. It was particularly good to catch up with several ex-group members – Flavio, Stefan, Grace, and Bec. Euan also caught up with old friends from his time in the Leigh group, and we were all thrilled to hear from recent Nobel Laureate (and Euan’s academic ‘grandfather’) Sir Fraser Stoddart.
