Fantastic news on Wednesday this week (5 October 2016) when Ben Feringa, Jean-Pierre Sauvage and J. Fraser Stoddart were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry “for the design and synthesis of molecular machines”.

This is a really exciting  moment for supramolecular chemistry and artificial molecular machines. The prize acknowledges some stunning scientific contributions by three inspiring and generous scientists. Congratulations to all three from St Andrews!
